现任6165cc金沙总站检测中心教授/博士生导师/资源研究中心主任,同时任内蒙古赛科星繁育生物技术(集团)股份有限公司首席科学家/研究院院长、英国剑桥大学Gurdon发育生物学研究所兼职研究员。1984年本科毕业于内蒙古大学生物系动物学专业,1986-1989年硕士在读期间参加了导师旭日干院士主持的中国首例试管牛、羊的科研工作;1990年到日本东京农业大学攻读博士学位,师从日本生殖生物学会会长中原达夫教授,主要从事牛体外受精、显微受精和牛胚胎性别鉴定方面的基础研究,于1994年获得博士学位并在日本家畜改良技术研究所从事三年博士后研究。1998-2005年转入英国剑桥大学临床兽医系任高级研究员,从事马受精生物学研究与繁育生物技术开发。
在国内外主持和参加各种科技项目30余项,发表以生殖生物学研究和繁育生物技术开发为主的学术论文140余篇,进行学术会议讲演60余次,授权18项专利(包括15项发明专利、2项实用新型专利、1项国际发明专利PCT)、制定6项国家和行业标准,出版、再版专著3部。曾任日本东京农业大学中国学联会长;英国剑桥大学中国学联第二届学术委员会主任;日本家畜繁殖生物学会会员、英国受精生物学学会会员、美国生殖生物学会会员、中国奶业协会繁殖委员会副主任、内蒙古生物工程学会理事长、内蒙古侨联副主席、内蒙古欧美同学会常务理事。
曾获2002年度剑桥中国学生学者联合会特别学术成果奖、2005年度内蒙古科教兴区突出贡献奖、2006年度内蒙古科技创新杰出引进人才奖、2007年度内蒙古中青年科技创新奖、2007年度与2014年度分别获得内蒙古科技进步一等奖2项,2007年入选国家级“新世纪百千万人才工程”,享受国务院政府特殊津贴。此外,2009-2019分别年获得呼和浩特市市长特别奖、呼和浩特市科技进步一等奖4项、中国发明专利奖、中国侨界创新人才奖、中国侨界创新成果奖、“十一五”国家科技计划执行突出贡献奖、内蒙古大学科技创新奖、内蒙古“农牧业丰收奖”一等奖、内蒙古首届“草原英才”和“首届科技标兵”,并且在2010年获得内蒙古最高科技奖励-内蒙古科学技术特别贡献奖。
